Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Criteria for UP Police Sub-Inspector (SI) – Male:
The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) criteria for prospective UP Police Sub-Inspector (SI) candidates vary for males and females. For male candidates falling under the UR/OBC/EWS category, the specified height is 163 cm, and the chest measurements should be 77 cm, expandable by 5 cm. In contrast, male candidates from the SC/ST category should have a height of 156 cm and a chest measurement of 75 cm, expandable by 5 cm.
Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Criteria for UP Police Sub-Inspector (SI) – Female:
For female candidates in the UR/OBC/EWS category, the required height is 150 cm, accompanied by a minimum weight of 40 kg. Similarly, female candidates from the SC/ST category should maintain a height of 145 cm, with a minimum weight of 40 kg. A non-refundable application fee of ₹400 is applicable for all candidates. The payment can be made through SBI Bank. UP Police ASI Clerk Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility of any exam is determined by the educational qualification, age limit, relevant work experience, nationality etc. Candidates, before applying for any exam must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criterias by the recruiting board in the official notification. Likewise, candidates aspiring for the UP Police ASI Clerk must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criterias in every respect.
Educational Qualification
To be eligible in terms of educational qualification, a candidate must be:
- Graduate in any discipline
- Must have the following typing speed in either English Hindi language
- 30 words per minute in English or
- 25 words per minute in Hindi
- NIELIT O Level Certificate

Age limit is the age group set by the recruitment board under which the candidate will be eligible to apply.
